Seems like a few PUMAs on this site want to say Darragh donated tons of Money to the Clinton campaign BEFORE Puma was founded.
YEAH RIGHT. Here is the evidence by way of the FEC website http://fec.gov/DisclosureSearch/MapAppRefreshTran.do
UPDATE** this link continue to DIE or go faulty! But please do the research yourself!
Go to FEC.gov
Click on the presidential elections map
click on Hillary Clinton's name on the left sidebar
change "begins with" to "contains" and enter "D-a-r-r-a-g-h"
Darragh has made 9 contributions to the Clinton campaign. Five of those were as a regular homemaker. the other four were as a pumapac blogger.
Homemaker:
3/20/2008: $100
3/31/2008: $100
4/12/2008: $50
3/22/2008: $50
4/30/2008:$100
And a screenshot because pictures are worth a thousand words HERE
THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLK by way of the Federal Elections Committee!
$400 to the Clinton campaign before PUMA. and $250 as a "puma blogger". She gave more money to John McCain in 2000 than Hillary Clinton this year! Only until she became a "PUMA PAC" did she go over her donations to the McCain campaign. And she did so with her tax exempt money!
So please, SAVE IT.
So, how much more does PUMA love Hillary Clinton than they love John McCain? Oh, about $150 more. I've had more expensive dinners than that.

Christina,
It looks like Antifish like calling people liars all over the intertubes. Here's one example:

Pumalicious reminds me of my son's girlfriend with that little cutesy girl name. I was once in high school too and understand why you are so close-minded. When a person is young and hasn't experienced anything in life, it's easy for some charismatic con man from Chicago to become their heartthrob. His qualifications don't matter cause he's so cool and cute. It's OK, you'll grow up someday and wonder, what you were thinking. Until then, we Pumas will save the country from four more years of ineptitude and chaos.

gimmeabreak,
Is there something wrong with free speech? Oh yeah, I forgot, we're not allowed to say anything critical of Obama. God forbid someone should learn the truth about him. Since you like to read, may I recommend this?

Antifish- what are you talking about? You've embraced an entire coalition formulated to do nothing more than criticize Senator Obama. Give the "no free speech" rhetoric a rest.

Christina,
Your little minion, gimmeabreak, seems to have a problem with me posting on HuffPo. Last time I checked, this was a free country. And we'll make sure it stays that way despite your efforts. Goodnight. Puma Power!

puma power?
Yes, get our your rings- and ACTIVATE.
Posted by: Christina | July 01, 2008 at 05:15 PM
@antifish:
You can talk all day long about "free speech" while any post that is even remotely not anti-Obama gets very quickly removed from these puma and anti-obama sites. Meanwhile, your posts are still here.

Looks like someone else needs to speak up for Puma's here.
I sent money to Hillary, now I send it to McCain and he will get my vote.
There are millions of people who will never vote for Obama because we have actually read the books, checked into his background, the background of his political supporters and campaign workers, and we KNOW that he is not fit to be President.
We have the ability to get past the speeches and see the man. He is inexperienced, he comes from a Marist/Socialst background in politics, he is part of the Chicago Machine, he throws people under the bus because he knows that they know he doesn't really mean it. They will all be with him after the election whether he wins or not. They know their Trojan Horse.
Even Rev. Wright, who married the Obama's, led them in church for 20 years, mentored him, and baptized his two daughters said of Obama "It went down very simply. He’s a politician, I’m a pastor. We speak to
two different audiences. And he says what he has to say as a
politician. I say what I have to say as a pastor. But they’re two
different worlds.
I do what I do. He does what politicians do. So that what happened in
Philadelphia where he had to respond to the sound bytes, he responded as
a politician.
Obama will not say what he really believes, but he will say whatever he has to in order to get votes.
The Rev. knows his man.

Correction to my previous post:
There should be an end quote (") after the word politician in the third to last paragraph.
The last two statements were mine and should not be credited to the Rev. Wright.

Pumas? Good grief. A bunch of menopausal women huffing and puffing and telling each other to "You go, girl!" in the Quixotic hope that causing a holy stink over a failed candidate will somehow compensate for the vague and uneasy feeling that their lives haven't been "fulfilled" or that they're not "empowered" or whatever moronic buzzwords are floating around on The View.

Amy, you rock!
Posted by: Christina | July 07, 2008 at 10:59 AM
And you roll, Christina. I hope the media pay some attention to the money trail you've pointed out. I seriously doubt that these Pumas are all disaffected Dems. I think a lot of the energy comes from Republicans stoking the coals.

I believe the PUMA members are legit. I am confounded by the "leaders" of the PUMA movement who won't promote my Hillary Clinton Protest Postcards in any way, shape, or form.
I am also disturbed by the links to George Soros affiliations. I seem to find these links on some of the highest of the high PUMA members. I apparently have been banned from HillaryClintonforum.net for questioning why some of the higher ups in the PUMA movement have links to either Corrente or Media matters, two websites that are pro George Soros.
I have actually mailed my postcards to the Denver Group, Maryland Puma, Murphy, and Will Bower.
Will Bower has always replied to my emails, the other three have replied a total of two times to probably a dozen well spaced emails to them. At this point in time, I don't have even one PUBLIC statement of SUPPORT for the protest postcards from the higher ups, even though members LOVE the postcars and ARE sending them out.
I still have managed to distributer a couple thousand postcards even without the PUMA leaders support, just imagine what WE could have accomplished with just a little bit of support.
The Postcards could still help Hillary Clinton get the nomination, but without the support of the higher ups in the PUMA movement, the amount sent out will send a message, just not as forcefully as if PUMA had been minimally motivated to help.
I actually offered a 1,000 postcards for FREE to for the Aug 8th-10th meeting and nobody took me up on the offer.

WAY TO GO WITH THIS INFO! I cannot believe someone has the nerve to fight the facts so unabashedly. Clearly Christina has drank the PUMA-Aid. It doesn't matter what your leaders have told you about when PUMA was formed...little Darragh Murphy listed HERSELF as a PUMAPAC Blogger long before its so-called June 3rd birthing. It's quite obvious that the morons running this "movement" took note of the media's hype around the last days of the Dem primary and cooked up this entire scam.
I officially love this site! I'm so glad that I've found it...because people deserve to know the truth about the Pointless Useless Moron Army!

Sorry...I meant antifish (not Christina)!
Posted by: Tammi | August 29, 2008 at 05:45 PM
Christina,
Why even get into a numbers match with these people? Why would a Hillary supporter give ANY money to McCain's campaign? I give money to people who support my ideas, NOT to people who are completely opposed to them.
Posted by: Henry | August 29, 2008 at 05:46 PM
Libby,
With all due respect, you are full of shit!
You come on here telling us that you gave money to Hillary and now you're giving it to McCain and we're supposed to think you are not either crazy or completely full of shit?
Please go kill yourself.
